I'm developing a new training service for businesses and NFP orgs, which I'll probably price at a recession-friendly $1200.
I'm calling it "Zero to Web Publishing God in 1 Week." It's an intensive in-person and online training on web publishing (concept, creation, maintenance, marketing). I used to be an adjunct-professor at Columbia College Chicago, teaching Small Press Publishing, so it should be comprehensive, but also condensed and results focused. A large number of my students are now running their own print and web publications.

OK, so I enjoy not paying licences to "the man" for buggy software, when I can use Open Source, Freeware or Shareware for the price of a voluntary donation. These are my personal free software favorites that I use almost daily. Enjoy!
- NeoOffice is a great office suite, that includes: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing and database. I use it regularly and havent' found a reason to crack open my MS products, because it can import and export into MS formats.
- Gimp is as powerful as Adobe Photoshop (with similar interfaces, but also as complex to learn and master).

Your old school developer's Dreamweaver and HTML coding skills are so ass-backward in this era of shockingly powerful web applications, that your old school (uni-directional, broadcasting) marketing site is worse than defunct. It's irrelevant. Why? Because it's not part of the conversation that new social media marketing requires.
