"The Quiz" Shoot by Ed Eusebio on Vimeo.

Stuff I learned from editing this behind the scenes footage:

  1. Final Cut "Render" makes clean digital footage look crappy.
  2. Use footage in a format that is recognizable to Final Cut, and doesn't require rendering.
  3. Simple cuts to's and cross fades are better.
  4. Louder sound is generally better.
  5. Allow the footage to tell it's own story.
  6. Good clean footage is essential for good editing.
  7. Vimeo is better than YouTube, when it comes to preserving the quality of your HD footage.
